Obverse description Large, broad hammered silver flan with an aniconic design composed entirely of Arabic Kufic script arranged in concentric zones. The central field contains a multi-line religious legend, the Shahada, distributed across several lines within a double-line inner circle. A circular marginal legend band, separated by a double-line border, encircles the central field and carries additional inscriptions recording the mint name Andarabah, the regnal year, and the name of the Abbasid caliph al-Qadir Billah. The outermost border is defined by a further line, beyond which the broad, flat flan extends irregularly to the rim. The strike is characteristic of large-module multiple dirhams of the Ghaznavid period, with typical die-axis variation and uneven flan spread.
