Reverse description A cross fleurée — its terminals adorned with fleurs-de-lis — occupies the center of the field, with a fleur-de-lis placed in each of the four angles formed by the cross arms. The entire design is contained within a quadrilobe, with additional fleurs-de-lis set in the four spandrels between the lobes, creating a richly ornamental Gothic framework. The reverse legend, running around the outer border, bears the triumphal Christological acclamation in abbreviated Gothic script.
