| Obverse description | Crudely hammered gold flan with bold raised dots arranged in triangular groupings at left and center, flanked by leaf-like or floral spray motifs in low relief. Persian legend occupies the upper register in cursive script. The overall design is characteristic of the irregular, rustic hammered coinage produced in the Baroda state workshop during the early nineteenth century. |
