| Obverse description | The obverse bears multiple lines of Persian-Urdu script in the Nastaliq style, arranged diagonally across the field, referencing the name and titles of the ruler Karm Singh along with the regnal date. The legends are incuse against a plain gold field with no border ornamentation. The calligraphic inscription is characteristic of Sikh-era princely state coinage of the Punjab region. |
