| Popis líce | Central field displays the Arabic word 'أحد' (Ahad, meaning 'One') repeated twice in bold, deeply struck calligraphic script, arranged horizontally within a decorated inner border of alternating triangular points. The Hijri date 1190 appears in large numerals beneath the central inscription. The design is enclosed within a double border consisting of an inner toothed or serrated ring and an outer beaded ring, typical of Alaoui-dynasty hammered silver coinage. The overall strike is characteristic of the irregular, hand-hammered technique employed at Moroccan mints of the period. |
