| Obverse description | Crowned shield of Burgundy occupies the central field, displaying the quartered arms of Burgundy ancient and modern within a decorative border. The shield is surmounted by a helmet with mantling visible to either side. A beaded inner circle frames the design, with the Latin legend running along the outer periphery in uncial characters. The overall composition is typical of the low-denomination billon coinage of the Burgundian Netherlands, struck with characteristic irregularity of a hammered flan. |

| Reverse description | A long cross pattee divides the reverse field into four quarters, with its arms extending to the inner circle. A small shield is placed at the center intersection of the cross. The surrounding legend in uncial Latin letters is contained between two concentric circles, referencing the mint of Leuven. The design is plain and functional, consistent with the utilitarian character of this small billon denomination intended for everyday commercial circulation. |
