| Reverse description | A long cross pattée divides the reverse field into four quadrants, with a fleur-de-lis at the central intersection, characteristic of Burgundian-influenced mites of the mid-fifteenth century. The arms of the cross extend to a beaded inner circle, framing the four distinct quadrants of the field. A segmented Latin legend in Gothic lettering reads continuously through the four arcs between the cross arms and the outer beaded border. The fleur-de-lis central motif and cross pattée composition follow the standard typology of small hammered copper issues produced by Low Countries lordships under Burgundian influence during this period. |
