Minim 'Atrebatic I'

The Atrebatic minims occupy an awkward taxonomic space in British Iron Age numismatics — too small to carry meaningful iconographic programs, too numerous to dismiss as accidentals. This group, catalogued under Spink 145, belongs to the final decade or so before Roman administrative control began reshaping coin production in the south. Whether they circulated as fractional currency or served some ritual or accounting function remains genuinely unresolved.
