Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Maria Theresia in high relief, wearing a pearl-adorned coiffure and décolleté dress with ermine-trimmed mantle. The circular Latin legend runs along the raised rim, with the engraver's signature M. DONNER inscribed in the lower exergue.

Reverse description A crowned queen seated on an ornate throne to the left receives an open document book from a kneeling female allegorical figure representing Transylvania, who bears the coat of arms of Transylvania before her. The arched Latin legend appears along the upper rim, and the date in Roman numerals is inscribed within a cartouche in the lower exergue. An engraver's signature is visible at lower center.
