| 表面の説明 | Central field dominated by a large multi-armed cross with radiating spokes, reminiscent of a wheel or sun cross design, rendered in a bold, archaic Gothic style characteristic of 13th-century Tyrolean coinage. The arms of the cross terminate near a beaded inner border, beyond which Gothic uncial lettering occupies the outer legend. The overall design is deeply struck with irregular flan edges typical of hand-hammered medieval silver coinage. The legend reads ME IN AR DVS, a contracted rendering of the ruler's name, Meinardus (Meinhard II, Count of Tyrol). |
