Obverse description Right-facing bust of Otto von Bismarck in military uniform and spiked helmet (Pickelhaube) in high relief, set against a raised map of the German Empire in the field. A small oval medallion bearing the Meissen crossed swords mark appears at the base of the bust. The circumferential legend runs along the upper and lower rim, with a gilt concentric ring framing the design.
