Reverse description Central field features a beaver seated atop a large maple leaf in high relief, a classic Canadian emblem. A curved ribbon banner above reads CANADA'S TRIBUTE, while a rectangular cartouche below bears the legend GOD SAVE THE QUEEN. The disc is framed by a decorative border of maple leaves and floral sprigs, and the maker's name P. W. ELLIS & Co. appears in the lower field. The reverse disc is similarly surrounded by the same ornamental laurel wreath as the obverse.
