Reverse description Constantine I, shown full-length and facing front, stands erect within a quadriga advancing in triumphal procession. The emperor is draped in imperial robes and extends his right hand forward to scatter largesse coins, while his left hand firmly holds an eagle-tipped sceptre. The four horses are depicted in animated stride, conveying the grandeur of the imperial adventus or triumph. The reverse is aniconic with respect to legend, being entirely anepigrammatic, with no mint mark or exergual inscription visible on this emission as catalogued under RIC VII 170 for Nicomedia.
