Reverse description Emperor Commodus standing facing left, pouring a libation with a patera over a low altar, framed by a laurel wreath arch. To his left stands a soldier holding a spear, with a standard or trophy behind; to his right stand two soldiers, one holding a spear and shield. The inscription PROVIDENTIA DEORVM appears in the lower exergue, with the titles legend around the upper field.
