Obverse description Draped bust of the Prince of Wales in left profile, wearing a ruffled collar and a bow at the nape, rendered in high relief. The legend GEORGIVS WALLIAE PRINCEPS curves around the upper field within a raised rim. The engraver's initials J.M. are faintly visible at the lower right of the bust.

Reverse description The heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales depicted in high relief: three ostrich feathers issuing from a coronet, with a scrolling ribbon banner below bearing the motto ICH DIEN divided across both sides. The coronet is decorated with fleur-de-lis and cross motifs. The field is otherwise plain within a raised rim.
