Obverse description The obverse replicates the design of a traditional East Asian cash coin, featuring a large central square perforation framed by a raised square border. Four large Chinese characters in bold clerical-style script are arranged in the four cardinal positions around the central aperture, reading 富 (wealth) above, 壽 (longevity) to the right, 寶 (treasure) to the left, and 神 (divine/spirit) below. The deeply incuse characters contrast sharply against the polished silver field, which displays a fine granular texture characteristic of high-purity silver. The rim is broad and slightly concave, framing the design in the manner of traditional Chinese and Japanese cash coinage.

Reverse description The reverse mirrors the cash-coin format with a central square perforation surrounded by a raised border and an incuse circular channel. A curved legend in Japanese script arcs across the upper field reading 平成四年 (Heisei Year 4), denoting the date of issue. The lower field bears the issuer's name 日本貨幣商協同組合 (Japan Numismatic Dealers Association) arranged in a curve around the lower portion of the square hole. Along the bottom rim, a subsidiary inscription in smaller characters reads 純銀 造幣局 泉友会製, indicating pure silver composition and manufacture by the Japan Mint under the auspices of the Senyu-kai numismatic society, accompanied by the Japan Mint's official plum-blossom mintmark.
