Obverse description The obverse depicts two figures in traditional Uyghur costume in high relief against a dark field: a standing woman in a long dress with arms raised in a dancing pose, and a seated man playing a stringed instrument, with stylized birds in flight around them. A circular legend surrounds the scene, rendered in Chinese characters and Uyghur script, with the dates 1955–1985 and additional inscriptions in the lower portion of the field.
