Reverse description A richly detailed relief depicts a Romanesque portal scene inspired by the collegiate church at Łęczyca: beneath an arch surmounted by an eagle (AQVILA) flanked by a cross and a sun symbol, Prince Casimir II sits enthroned at centre with a sword resting on his lap, flanked by a mitred bishop with crozier and an armoured knight. To the left, a smaller figure of Kazimierz carries a model of a church beside the vertical inscription PROTECTOR ECCLESIE; to the right, a city gate with the inscription VRES CRACOVIA FELIX. Griffins appear on either side of the arch, and a pearl border frames the composition. The exergue bears the issuer's inscription and series designation.
