Obverse description A winged allegorical figure of Patriotism, helmeted and in classical armour, stands triumphant on clouds bearing a shield inscribed PRO PATRIA and raising a spear, trampling the prostrate figure of Corruption beneath her feet. Above, a radiant triangle inscribed KING, LORDS, COMMONS symbolises the constitution, with the maker's signature HALLIDAY FECIT and the date MDCCCXXXII in the lower field.
