Reverse description The reverse likewise consists entirely of inscribed text in two zones: a circular outer legend around the rim bearing a Latin phrase, and a central field containing a quoted prose passage describing the devastation wrought by the hurricane, followed by a record of losses sustained in property and lives, with the engraver's name ORDERSON in the lower field.
