Obverse description The obverse depicts the Votive Church of the Holy Mother of Freedom viewed from the east, rendered in semi-gloss relief against a matte landscape on a polished field. The curved legend along the upper rim reads "ZAVJETNA CRKVA SVETA MATI SLOBODE", while the inscription "ZAGREB" and the date "2009." appear incuse in the lower field below the church.

Reverse description The reverse features a raised semicircular relief depicting the altar piece "Proslava" (Celebration) from the interior of the church, with the figure of the Risen Christ as the central motif, flanked by stylized foliage and congregants. A curved Latin legend along the upper rim reads "MARTYRIBUS PRO PATRIA CROATIA IN CHRISTO RESURRECTURIS", and the designer's initials "KK" appear at the lower left of the relief. In the lower polished field the inscription "RELJEF POBJEDE" is struck in two lines.
