Obverse description A high-relief scenic composition depicting Queen Victoria and Prince Albert ascending the harbour steps at St. Helier, greeted by groups of women in period dress on either side. A kneeling uniformed official is visible to the right in the foreground. Above, a decorative draped canopy bears the legend VICTORIA HARBOUR, flanked by pillars hung with floral garlands. The inscription below the scene records the date and event.
