Obverse lettering ALL FRIENDS ROUND THE WREKIN
Reverse description A royal crown resting on a cushion atop crossed sword and sceptre in the centre field, encircled by a laurel wreath whose individual leaves bear the names of the twelve Conservative Members of Parliament for Shropshire. A ribbon scroll beneath the central device carries the legend GOD SAVE THE QUEEN. The circular border legend records the festival at Shrewsbury on November 12, 1841, and EARL OF POWIS PRESIDENT appears along the lower border.
