Reverse description Allegorical scene in high relief depicting Tsar Alexander II in imperial robes and crown, standing left, clasping hands with Londinia, a draped female figure wearing a mural crown and accompanied by a shield and putto with a lyre at right. A winged figure of Peace stands between and behind them with outstretched arms. To the left, a second putto holds a torch, and a plinth inscribed with the Imperial Emancipation Edict of 3 March 1861 and the Russian double-headed eagle is visible. The circular legend surrounds the scene, with date and place inscribed in the exergue, and the engraver's name CHARLES WIENER below the exergue line.
