To the left, a second putto holds a torch, and a plinth inscribed with the Imperial Emancipation Edict of 3 March 1861 and the Russian double-headed eagle is visible. The circular legend surrounds the scene, with date and place inscribed in the exergue, and the engraver's name CHARLES WIENER below the exergue line. |
