Reverse description A draped funerary monument or tomb set on a stepped plinth, surmounted by a crown emitting radiating rays of glory, with a smaller crown and drapery below it. The face of the tomb bears an inscription with the subject's name and dates. The legend 'BELOVED LAMENTED' arcs around the upper field on either side, and the maker's name ALLEN & MOORE appears in the lower exergue.
