Reverse description An elaborate allegorical composition in high relief depicting Queen Victoria seated on a throne at centre, being crowned by a robed figure representing the Archbishop, flanked by classical female figures representing Britannia and other allegorical personifications. Below, two kneeling figures at the base of a rocky cliff render homage, with a trident, caduceus, and garlands visible at their feet; ships are depicted in the distant background on either side. The inscription in the exergue records the dates of Victoria's accession and coronation.
