The surrounding border legend in English reads: 'FOR THE BUILDERS EVERY ONE HAD HIS SWORD GIRDED BY HIS SIDE', with the biblical source 'NEHEMIAH IV:12' inscribed in small lettering on the right, and corresponding Hebrew text along the right rim.
