Obverse description Three heraldic shields in high relief, surmounted by a royal crown, representing Ireland (harp), England (three lions passant), and Scotland (lion rampant). Below the shields, national emblems including a thistle, rose, and shamrock are displayed, flanked by decorative knotwork. The date 1893 appears in the lower field, with the legend QUIS SEPARABIT arching around the upper border.

Reverse description Two male figures in relief shaking hands at centre, one older and bearded, one younger, standing before two large crossed flags. The right flag bears a portrait medallion of Queen Victoria. A laurel wreath lies at their feet. In the exergue, the inscription NO HOME RULE appears, with the maker's name GIBSON & CO BELFAST inscribed along the lower rim. The surrounding legend reads GREAT ULSTER UNIONIST DEMONSTRATION APRIL 4. 1893, with UNION IS STRENGTH and FOR QUEEN UNION on the flags.
