The copper-nickel middle ring carries the legend CAMPANA DE DOLORES HIDALGO in relief, encircling a dotted inner border. The brass central disc features a detailed relief depicting the Liberty Bell of Dolores Hidalgo flanked by figures of insurgents, with the mint mark visible in the field.
