Medal - The Rustic Pharmacy

Beschrijving voorzijde	Detailed interior scene in low relief depicting Michel Schuppach seated at a table examining a urine sample held up to the light, with a young woman and accompanying figure standing before him on the left, set within a pharmacy interior lined with shelves of bottles and vessels. The scene reproduces the 1774 line engraving by G. Locher. An inscription appears in the lower exergue.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The entire field is occupied by a seven-line French inscription in relief. A small coat of arms appears at 12 o'clock above the text, and a small townscape view of Langnau is visible at the base near 6 o'clock. The surface shows heavy patination and corrosion.
