Reverse description The reverse displays the word DELAWARE prominently in the central field, flanked on both sides by raised laurel wreaths tied at the base with a banner inscribed 1ST STATE. Above, a circular medallion depicts the state flower, the Peach Blossom, surrounded by stars and the legend DELAWARE PEACH BLOSSOM. Below the central inscription, the text ATTAINED STATEHOOD DECEMBER 7, 1787 appears in relief, with the Franklin Mint mintmark at the very base.
