Reverse description The reverse displays the name ARKANSAS in large relief lettering across the central field, beneath a circular medallion depicting the state flower, the Apple Blossom, surrounded by a ring of stars and the legend APPLE BLOSSOM. Two laurel branches frame the central design on either side, and a scroll at the base bears the inscription 25TH STATE. Below the state name, the legend reads ATTAINED STATEHOOD JUNE 15, 1836. The Franklin Mint mark appears at the bottom.
