Obverse description The obverse depicts a dramatic allegorical scene in high relief showing three figures — a central robed figure flanked by two assailants — set against a townscape background with lightning bolts and storm clouds above. The engraver's signature I.L. OEXLEIN appears in the lower right field. The date and commemorative inscription HORA X NOCT D III NOV / MDCCLXXI appear in the exergue, while the legend NOLITE TANGERE CHRISTOS MEOS curves along the upper rim, referencing the attempted abduction of King Stanisław August Poniatowski on 3 November 1771.
