Obverse description The central field displays a gilt Korean Army Aviation badge in high relief, featuring spread wings flanking a central torch and rocket device, on a brushed bronze-tone ground. Above the badge, the legend reads in Korean Hangul and Latin script. The broad outer ring is finished in gloss black enamel and bears fourteen small circular and shield-shaped enamel unit insignia in full colour, representing various Army Aviation formations.

The central medallion inset in gloss black enamel displays Korean Army Aviation pilot wings with a five-pointed star above, accompanied by legends in Korean and Latin script. A bilingual legend in Korean Hangul and Latin script runs along the lower rim.
