Below her, Neptune and a Naiad support the hull amid crashing waves, with the shipyard structures of the Stabilimento Tecnico Triestino visible in the left background. The inscription in three lines appears in the upper left field.

背面描述	The reverse bears a fourteen-line Latin inscription in capital letters across the field, recording that in the fiftieth year of the reign of Emperor Francis Joseph I, the Imperial and Royal warship named Kaiser Karl VI. was built at the naval yard of San Rocco near Trieste and launched on 4 October 1898, with Archduchess Isabella of Austria as sponsor; a final three-line inscription in smaller lettering notes she was prevented from attending by mourning for the Empress Elisabeth.
