Descripción del anverso On the front you can see a young woman, her robe half-exposed, so that the breast is not covered. In front of her sits an elderly man with bound hands, to whom she gives her breast. The story known as “Caritas Romana” is about a daughter who breastfeeds the imprisoned father with her milk so that he does not starve.
(Translation: The Roman loves her father / through her breast she gives him food)
Descripción del reverso The back also takes up the subject of unconditional child love: two storks fly above the cityscape of Dresden. One carries a third stork on his back while the other feeds it with a snake.
