背面描述	The reverse features a divided shield: the left half bears the striped arms of Saxony with the Wettin bend, while the right half displays the emblem of the German Democratic Republic (hammer, compass, and wreath). To the right, a multi-line text block commemorates the 40th anniversary of the GDR; to the left, a stylized multi-line inscription records the 900th anniversary of the enfeoffment of the House of Wettin with the Margraviate of Meissen. The initials KB (Kulturbund) appear in the lower center field.
