| Obverse description | The obverse features a central relief depiction of the Motherland statue from Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery, set within a large five-pointed star formed by a St. George ribbon rendered in colour. Colour imagery of the Peter and Paul Cathedral spire and the Flag Tower of the Naryshkin Bastion flanks the star, while relief images of commemorative coins and medals appear in the upper field. Below the central figure, a memorial plaque inscription in Cyrillic honours Mint workers who perished during the Siege of Leningrad, with the dates 1941–1945 in the lower exergue. |
