Obverse description A decorative folding fan in high relief occupies the centre of the field, adorned with wisteria blossoms, chrysanthemums, and other auspicious flowers arranged around it. A tasselled cord is tied at the pivot of the fan, and wheat or grass sprigs extend toward the lower left. The entire design is framed by a border of stylised cloud scrolls in low relief.
