| Obverse description | Against a mirror-polished field, the full-length figure of Admiral F. F. Ushakov in uniform is depicted in high relief, rendered as a monument set upon a tiered pedestal. Behind the figure, the domes and façade of St. Feodorovsky Cathedral in Saransk are shown in detailed relief. Two decorative ribbon scrolls flank the composition, bearing the upper and lower legends. |
