The obverse of the referenced coin shows the Soviet state emblem with the legend «СС 1 РУБЛЬ», while the reverse displays two mounted warriors in combat with the legend «ШЕСТЬСОТ ЛЕТ КУЛИКОВСКОЙ БИТВЫ» and dates «1380–1980» in the exergue.
