Obverse description A crowned allegorical female figure representing Catalonia is seated facing forward in high relief, wearing a robe bearing the Catalan coat of arms on her chest, her hands resting on the arms of two heraldic shields at her sides representing Villanueva and Valls. An industrial landscape with a factory chimney appears to the left and a rural scene to the right, while the coat of arms of Barcelona flanked by laurel branches occupies the lower exergue. The circular legend and date are inscribed along the border, with the engravers' signatures (PADRO. INV· SALA. GRA·) in the lower field.
