A smaller kneeling or crouching figure appears in the lower left foreground, with scattered rocky debris throughout the composition. Reverse description A solitary robed figure ascends a broad staircase in the left portion of the field, rendered in low relief against a dramatic background of cracked and fragmenting stone or earth. A large cross is visible to the upper left, reinforcing the religious theme of the composition. The right side of the field continues the crumbling wall motif seen on the obverse.
