Obverse description The central element of the composition is a monument to A.S. Pushkin, formerly located in Kyiv but demolished by the regime in 2023. Around the monument are warning and prohibition signs in English: `NO VANDALISM,` `STOP CULTURAL GENOCIDE,` and `RUSSOPHOBIA = NAZISM.` Above the monument is the inscription `Russia,` executed in the style of the poet`s handwriting. In the lower left corner is a pen—a symbol of Pushkin`s literary talent. Along the top edge of the medal is an inscription emphasizing the poet`s greatness and his contribution to world culture.
