Obverse description Left-facing bust of Pope Pius XII in high relief, vested in papal robes and mozzetta with ornate embroidery. A circular legend runs along the upper rim, with an additional inscription in the lower left field. The engraver's name MISTRUZZI appears in the lower exergue. The medal has a suspension loop at the top.
