| Beschrijving voorzijde | Two large three-masted warships sailing to the right in finely detailed high relief, their sails full and rigging elaborately rendered. The vessels, representing a Dutch and an English man-of-war, sail side by side on a stylized sea, each adorned with an olive wreath at the top of the mainmast as a symbol of peace. No legend is present; the entire field is occupied by the maritime scene within a plain raised rim. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The armorial shields of Great Britain (quartered with the arms of England, Scotland, and Ireland) and the Dutch Republic (lion rampant) displayed side by side, suspended from a large olive wreath tied at the top. Flanking the shields are decorative foliate branches with fruit. Below the shields, crossed branches of laurel and palm are tied with a ribbon, above a scrolled cartouche bearing the legend. The date 1667 and the engraver's initials C.A. appear in the lower field beneath the cartouche. |
