Obverse description Winged allegorical figure of Peace descends from above, holding scales of justice in her raised hands, with a trumpet extending to the right. To the left, a standing draped female figure (Liberty) holds a scroll, while to the right a standing female figure (Justice) holds a sword. In the lower field, the facade of the Palace of Versailles is depicted in low relief, before which a reclining figure of Mars is crowned by a small child. The maker's name ELKINGTON appears in the exergue.
