Reverse description The central field features an outline map of the state of Ohio surrounded by a ring of seventeen stars, with a buckeye branch and honey bee overlapping at upper right. The wide border contains embossed symbols of Ohio's industries and resources, including the State Capitol building at top, a gear, corn, grapes, glass or pottery sphere, a serpent mound motif, and other agricultural and industrial emblems arranged in radiating panels. The engraver's signature E. FREY appears in the lower center field.
