Descrizione del dritto	Frontal effigy of a crowned king seated on a throne, holding an orb in his left hand and a sceptre in his right, with a shield bearing a coat of arms on his lap. The figure is rendered in high relief in the style of a medieval groat. The circular legend reads MONETA·DOMINI·KAROLI, separated by pellets, within a beaded border.

Descrizione del rovescio	The quartered coat of arms of Kremnica displayed on a shield in the centre of the field, showing a wheel with a crescent above and three fleurs-de-lis on a barry field below. Flanking the shield are two small mint-related symbols. The legend MUZEUM arches above and KREMNICA curves along the lower portion, all within a beaded border.
