Reverse description The reverse features a large double-headed eagle of the Russian state in high relief at centre, set within an elaborate vertical ornamental panel of acanthus scrollwork extending from top to bottom of the field. To the left and right of the central device, Cyrillic inscriptions in the field name four key rulers associated with the Kremlin's history: Yuri Dolgoruky, Ivan Kalita, Dmitry Donskoy, and Ivan III, with their respective reign dates. The mint mark of the Saint Petersburg Mint (СПМД) appears in a small cartouche in the lower right field.
